The power of marketing

Yesterday morning while I was getting ready & blow-drying my hair, Sis walked into the bathroom.

"Wow, Mom. Your hair is really messy today."
"Yup. That's the way it normally looks, because it's curly. Unless I spend time to straighten it."
"Huh."
"You don't like it?"
"Hmmmm... well..."

Last night, then, as she & I were sitting at Bub's baseball game, she looked at my hair again.

"I really like your hair messy like that, Mom."
"You do? I didn't think you liked it messy."
"Well, I was reading in one of your magazines today about a hair stylist whose salon is in HOLLYWOOD. And she says when she fixes her hair, the bigger and messier, the better."

So, thank you, mystery magazine, for making me okay-looking in Sis's eyes! :)

Sis is becoming quite the fashionista, isn't she?

He-he! She's not afraid to say what she thinks, is she? I like your hair messy, too, though. :)
